Hello, I’m Harold Walsh, an Industrial Designer from Australia with a focus on product strategy. My expertise lies in applying the voice of the customer to technically complex solutions. I have skills that span the entire design process from intial conceptualisation and visualisation, to design for manufacture, development and engineering.         Retirement Living Social Networking Service

PlusS60, an app for the new breed of retirement villages to keep residents connected, engaged and enjoying life!
In 2018, I was intially involved in the PlusS60 project as a technology vendor to integrate the SoftBank Pepper Robot with the platform, but I also consulted on this startup team in a freelance capacity after hours and on weekends.

I worked with product designer Natalie Harper, and UX/UI designer Gavin Campbell-Wilson and stakeholders such as Wesley Mission Queensland, Southern Cross Care and Baptcare to ensure our product decisions were informed by the voice of the end user. 

Designing functional & clear UX & UI for the +60 age bracket required real accessibility testing, and the efforts of this project achieved recognition in the form of a Good Design Award in 2019.
